Not new

This can't be a new one. After only two weeks it has started behaving erratically like my old one that is 3 years old! My guess is this is a recondirioned unit advertised as new.

Good punchy bass and solid construction

Excellent speakers. using them as rears in a 5.1 surround setup connected to a Yamaha DSP-757SE amp and a Panasonic BMP-BD80 Blu-Ray player. Noticed an obvious improvement with the bass over my previous rears Mordaunt Short MS5's. My damn cat was looking around at them wondering where the door was that just opened! Heavy for their size and solidly made. Feel really good quality. Music sounds nice through them too. The treble isn't harsh or shrieky, if you know what i mean. Very pleased with them and would recommend these as rears in a cinema surround system.

Brings vintage audio to the 21st Century.

I use a vintage amp from the late 70's. Having a turntable, cd player and tuner is my main listening, but I wanted to bring modern benefits to my set up without having to purchase a new full setup. So I researched dedicated dacs and this seemed to fit the bill. Good value with excellent build quality and connectivity. I didn't want to spend over £1000 as I only wanted to dip my toe to find out if this set up could work with high enough quality. The sound is brilliant for such a small device and for so little money. I am truely amazed to be honest. I can now connect my S10+ and list to all my mp3's plus connect to my streaming service and get pretty much an endless supply of music. I ensure nothing is lower in quality than 256k and sound is as good as cd. Happy with my purchase and will look into a high end one at a future date. But I may just stick with this one as it is very good in it's own right.
