Totally useless
The cogged nylon section seems to be too small in diameter as when it reached its fully open or closed position, instead of the motor stopping as per the original mast, this one wouldn't stop the motor and was slipping on the cogs. I dismantled both new and old masts by removing the very centre part (which includes the nylon section) and the new mask section fell to pieces. I've now rebuilt the original as a temporary measure and works well. ALL sections of the old mast are now in the bin.
