Sturdy but still portable.
2 of 2 found this helpful This music stand is ideal in every way bar one:- It is robust, it holds large music scores happily and it is easily adjustable heightwise and anglewise. The only unnecessary feature on it are the two flexible, but non-retractable, bent rods protruding frontwards from the sill of the stand. These are most certainly to prevent pages from flapping or turning unintentionally in outdoor, windy conditions. Quick page turns with these holding the music in place are impossible to manage in a performing situation. I would much prefer the stand without these rods at all as they just get in the way.
