good, lightweight full frame camera lens
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a good full frame camera lens. The build is plastic and hence lightweight. The max aperture at wide angle (28mm) is f/3.3 instead of f/3.5 which is a standard that Nikon has adopted. Its lens mount is plastic which makes me doubt its long term durability, would have loved it with metal lens mount. Another great feature is that this lens does not extend much when you zoom all the way from 28mm to 80mm. Lens sharpness is acceptable. I use it occasionally with Nikon D7100.
