Functional, satisfactory and good value.

Seems well made and works as expected. Easy to fit as a replacement. The only reason I didn't mark this as 5 stars is that the fifth star is 'amazing'. I'm not easily amazed about a shaver socket, but the product is functional, satisfactory and good value.

Compact DVR for CCTV recording at a reasonable price.

I was attracted to this model in preference to cheaper ones on ebay, because it can handle AHD cameras as well as the 'ordinary' analogue ones. This gives the opportunity to upgrade quality when replacing cameras, without changing the cabling. I don't personally use the IP system but it is useful to have included, as it facilitates remote monitoring. I fitted a hard drive specifically designed for the continuous recording encountered in CCTV use, as the 'standard' drives are really only intended for intermittent use in computers, so (in my experience) tend to fail prematurely. The unit seems to work well and is simple to operate.
