Light as a feather but heck of a strong rod!

There is a very strong stench coming from the material of the chair. It was so bad that it made our bedroom unbearable to sleep in.

Solid design and smooth as silk!
I bought this 2000 size so that I can have the best of both worlds- not too small and not to bulky. It balances out perfectly on two of my different rods- my 5'9" trout rod and my 6'6 medium light rod. This reel is designed as a shallow spool only so it does not waste too much of any line that I put on the reel. Mainly I put 2 lb. land up to 6 lb. line fluorocarbon. The reel is balanced just right. There is hardly any wobbles in the reel at all when cranking the handle. The reel is so light that on my last trout fishing expedition, I fished all day casting and it didn't wear me out at all. The smoothness of the reel added to my G-Loomis TSR 690S-1 GLX made it a winning combo. You can feel any bump and nibble and especially strikes.
Shimano has really set the bar on this one! The color scheme is exceptionally. The only thing that I wish they would do is add a slow oscillation to the reel to compete with the Abu Garcia Revo Premier and MGX.
