Slight problem
The genuine teapot replacement is a slightly smaller diameter than the original one. This means it will not operate the switch. After a friendly conversation with the supplier, a small piece of "Blu Tak " over the bottom rim of the machine pushed the teapot forward and the switch then operates normally.
This is the simplest corrective action. Swan are aware.

Bluetooth solution for headphones
The devices work straight out of the box and syncronise in a few seconds. I bought two, transmit and receive for headphone use from a TV optical source. It has rid the room of cables along the floor. The sound is very slightly out of sync with the TV picture but I don't find it too noticeable.

Trying a vertical aerial
7 of 7 found this helpful Good build quality and very simple to put together. Coditions are poor on HF at present, but I am able to match the aerial over all bands, even on 160 metres. I have mounted the aerial on a wall bracket at the side of the house. The vertical aerial is at least 3 dBs less noisy than the long wire.
The base of the aerial is about 10 feet above ground.
