Drayton 24002 RTS2 Room Thermostat

FAR MORE ACCURATE THAN THE OLD MECHANICAL ONE
This thermostat was extremely easy to install, in fact the removeable back plate screwed to the wall exactly where the old one (fitted 20 years ago) had been. No extra holes or screws needed. The new thermostat is so much more responsive and having the neon on it is great so you know when it's calling for heat. Seems to respond within a degree or so. I shall be buying some more of these for my studio. Remember it needs a neutral connection for the relay to operate!

HANDY LITTLE CONVERTER, WORKS WELL
The only reason I didn't give the converter five starts was that the picture from the HDMI port was not quite as bright as the previous model I bought. Otherwise it worked fine and cost very little.

EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT THERMOSTAT
I had a problem with my ancient floor standing boiler as the old water temperature/limit thermostat had failed after about 25 years. A little bit of investigation on e-bay enabled me to find this unit as a replacement and I fitted it without any trouble - the boiler manufacturer had of course recommended a replacement boiler! The water is now smoothly controlled and I have the confidence that the limit thermostat will be working again properly.
