Quick fix for broken sound

Lets face it. It is what It is. I bought this to fix a laptop where a headphone jack had broken off inside. For that these are perfect. If sound quality isnt that important to you that is. As a sound engineer I wouldn't use one to mix or master a track but I would use it to listen to how a track would sound on a cheap system. So if all you want to do is get a jack back on a laptop with a faulty socket then these are cheap fast and reliable I have one working 24/7 for the last 3 years on one machine and yes I do mean 24/7.

A great byte for a little bit

A Hard Drive is a Hard Drive right? Well not this one. I bought this drive to use in a DVR that had an "Eco Friendly" disk in it. What at first is a shocking amount of noise emanating from the disk at start up, suddenly takes on a reassuring bullet proof quality all of its own. Disk access times are great considering the poorly designed DVR and its software. It has done every thing that I had hoped for and more by reducing the time it takes to add a recording from close to 10 seconds to less than 5. All in all a great product and has impressed me sufficiently to make me have Hitachi as my preferred hard Disk.
