If you have a crappy kit lens, this improves it
It helped improve the quality of images with a kit lens. Get a better lens though as soon as funds are available and ditch kit lens is my overall advice. The item itself is heavy and well made. Not plastic!

Need another close range zoom lens, love it
Sharp images , good focus, fast shutter. I like this lens a lot and recommend it to someone who can't get a L lens at the moment or something of $800 dollars.

Fell apart first day, bad glue
I didn't expect a fancy ring but I did expect it to hold together. I didn't get to wear it because it fell apart when it came out of the package. The glue dried up on the back of it and that is my guess as to why it just popped off suddenly. No damage to package when I received it. I had to repair the object with E6000.
