An nunfortunate purchase on my part.
Nice illustrations with contradictions in comparison to other books of this type. Why do Officers who write military books concentrate on Officers kit more than other ranks. The Victorian section was greatly lacking in pictures and information. To be truthful I was disappointed and should have opted for the dearer Wilks book on the subject. Being in a Victorian Royal Artillery group complete with 4 ponder mountain gun its important to get your facts correct especially regarding uniform. Whilst we are 100% correct there are missing items of kit or dress which still need research. I wouldnt recommend this book for the Victorian Period bur fine or others either side

Intense at times for a newbie
I was a little confused by the character being in view all the time and the sighting aid being off centre with weapons other than scoped rifle but you get used to it.
Especially when taking cover.
You can pop out fire and pop back without getting hit. Grenade warnings are good and clear to see but you can get shot a lot as well not like other games where the grenades take you out more.
I enjoyed the added features like cloaking cammo and thermal vision which was handy in the sandstorm. You have access to drones to spy or activate pulse charges. Plenty of weapons and ammo available. You can spot enemies for your team and have syncronised hits. Generally a good game with plenty of action. I prefer the character behind the weapon with in line sighting

The simple things of life
After our old BT phone became troublesome we needed a similar replacement which would be familiar and user friendly. This phone fitted the bill. Price was not an issue £25 to £40 would have been reasonable. however at 319.99 this was a steal. Importantly it has large numbers on keypad and large screen text. You can set the ring to 8 rings max which gives time to answer before the answer phone kicks in. The phone has many extras like call blocker/phone book/recording/ call recognition etc.
The base is an improvement on the old one with user friendly key pad. despite not having the instructions in the pack originally.
I found navigating the menu to be very similar to the old phone. (Phone shop sent me an on line instruction manual which is 59 pages I recommend this is picked at rather than printing off the whole thing) I recommend this phone to any technophobes out there who just needs a simple life without any complicated apps etc.
