Need a dependable phone and for low signal areas? Can't beat this phone!

I have a smartphone. I bought a Samsung SGH A777 for my wife last year and she gets calls in low signal areas (like where I live) that my smartphone doesn't. I found this one on the sellers eBay listing for half of what I paid for my wife's. I switched the sim card from my smartphone and I now get fringe area calls too. What good is a smartphone if you can't phone anyone?

Quality and resolution of the Newer Models

I decided on this scanner because it has the optics of the newer more costly models. I intend to scan transparencies and color negatives. Newer models can gang scan but I don't need that. I need highest quality for a budget price. I had to purchase the film holders separately because they were not included but I intend to use them for pre-scanning color negatives only. I intend to create final scans with the wet method. This scanner is perfect for that.
