The handle is plastic, and no telling how long it will last, but so far so good, and wish you better luck than my first experience.
These cables can be a bit of a problem getting back into place, but be sure you put the little cable clamp back where it belongs, or your cable will fall out of the hood latch lock, and you then have to take the front bezel off, which is held on by 3 screws and that grill is only made of cheap plastic. Then you have to take the 2 nuts off the catch and remove it so you can open the hood again, "NOT FUN", but that is the only way you will get the hood back open if that little cable holder isn't there to keep the cable from dropping and letting it fall out of place. Other than that, It does work far better than having to use pliers or vice grips to pull the cable. Hope this was helpful.

S&G tool aid TDC indicator
This is a very handy tool to fine Top Dead Center for your #1 engine cylinder. First you have to remove all the spark plugs, to avoid any compression on other cylinders which will make your engine harder to turn as well as make it jump past the TDC (Top Dead Center). It lets out a whistle until your engine #1 piston reaches the TDC point so you know you are there. The hose is long enough to reach most anywhere even in deep plug holes as many Hondas and other cars have. It really is a great tool addition and made to fit 2 different size plug holes and is very sturdy material. It is worth it, so yes I do highly recommend this tool unless you can't hear, and then you need someone who can hear well enough to help. Great little addition to my tools collection. Excellent for those with an imagination for adventure
4 of 4 found this helpful If you know how to use your imagination, and enjoy strange adventures, Try this and find yourself wishing you could do as this man does. But maybe it's best you cant!!! I really liked it after renting it and had to have it, so I got on eBay and got a great deal at a great price.
