Pros but cons too, mostly to do with the way the rings are operated.
1 of 1 found this helpful Pro: Very happy with the boost function on two rings enlarging the cooking area.The timer is really handy too, enabling the rings to switch off after a set time. The hob looks smart.
Cons: I am missing the speed with which my previous halogen hob heated up. It takes much longer for pans to heat up and takes very long for the rings to cool down. During the cooling down process after switching the hob off it shows a flashing H for hot. The flashing actually is irritating, why could this not be a static H? Also when using the boost function the number the heat is on keeps on flashing.
Regulating the heat going up and down is with a central control, so you have to choose the particular ring first before you can go up or down. Switching one ring off altogether from 9 is done by tapping the minus button for 9 times, there is no separate on off button per ring.
