An excellent read for those interested in a period when racing cars were just that.
When it came out this book did not received rave reviews, in fact it was muted. How wrong they were. This is an excellent portrayal of the life of one of our best young racing drivers, and not just about his cars.

Good history source
I am writing a family history based on Stafford, the Potteries and Congleton. This book has been of great value for the wide and accurate content about Congleton.
