Average
Time consuming but effective however easy to damage the backs of the shoes. Acceptable for the price.

Not good value
Based on the experience of many pairs of secateurs I would say that this pair would be worth about £10 if they functioned properly. I actually paid £10 (RRP about £20) which seemed at the time to be a bargain but in fact it wasn't because the locking system was faulty and therefore the blades do not remain closed when not in use. The initial cut is quite crisp but dulls fairly quickly. So on balance I would say these are best to avoid whatever the price they are offered at.

Surprisingly good quality for the price and fit neatly on my elderly mum's swollen ankles
