On my case, I own a Zeiss ZM Planar F2 50mm lens that uses filtes of 43mm diameter. With this adapter I can use Leica filters 46mm or even better, the Leica Universal Poralizer that cames with adapters for 39 and 46mm

For those who want to experience wide angle lenses
This is the first time I use a wide angle or rectilinear lens.
On my research, even the seller, all of them indicates due this is a wide angle lens you have to use it on a tripod or use a Spirit Level (here is where the voigtlander engineers creates a lovely piece, you do not have to see it from the top, just turn your sight to the left to see that the level is correct) I use the lens on a Zeiss Ikon SW whit a 12mm viewfinder and a Voigtlander Spirit Level. This two tools hepls you a lot on choosing the angle of view of your target to be capture on film. The colors captured on the film are very good, niece tones, nice intensity. The aperture of the lens is almost a master piece, because you have extra F-stops, as example between F8 and F11 you have a middle F-stop ¿F9?
If you takes pictures of a corridor, an ancient Roman Aqueduct, Old fashion Stairs, Pipes and valves on a Chemical plant; you will se on the picture captured that the straight lines are preserved with a sence of lined anamorphis, this gives you funny, interesting and shows details not captured by other lenses. An inclination on the horizontal angle of the sight will cause exaggerated straight lines and gives you the feeling that you are on the David Bowie´s Labyrinth or like on Alice on Wonderland. It is a lovely and really necessary lens if you want to photography places like old churches, minsters, the Roman Colisseum, La Sagrada Familia, Stonehenge, places that on the picture you will have a good sence of depht
It is a lovely lens. It deserves his value
