The best, except......

I am a builder and use it to set windows, if there are many in a row, cabinets, even plugs for counter tops, etc. Drop ceilings is another good use and to locate can lights. This is my second one, and that is the one thing I'll say bad. The last one's light went out after 2 years, still haven't got it fixed but it doesn't seem a durable as it it should be. I baby my lasers and don't use them often, so I was shocked when the light died so quickly. Still worth the money and is highly valued in my tool arsenal !

Good Idea, poor electronics, unreliable

I am a building contractor in Northern Michigan and bought one for my garage, wanted to stop cutting wood for the outside boiler, bought one for the shop as well, not installed yet. The one in the garage was working well I thought, so I ordered two more for heat while under construction on our project. Two weeks to the day, the one in the shop failed, no power to the mother board, but that next day, the to new ones arrived and I had to swap one of the new ones right away. The new one works half the time, I have to keep checking it but it come on if I turn it off and on again. I have paint, lots of paint in the garage, so I can't let it freeze. Long story short, have tried to call several times for help resolving the problem but the wait is much longer than I had time for, but expect to get through soon. The heater would be a great heater, but there are some bugs that from other reviews, haven't been addressed over a long period of time. Electronics and maybe a valve issue on the second one I installed in the garage. Reliability is the name of the game, who has time to be playing with these type issues, especially with sub zero nights and single digit days! I'd spend a little more for the peace of mind.

Part of a good decking look.

I have bought these screws before and have come back for seconds! I am a professional builder and use these screws to install cedar decking with a bead of Vulkem adhesive caulk for added stability. It's a good combination to avoid large screw heads, a much cleaner look.
