Not exactly honest but has some value
0 of 1 found this helpful Promises big revelations, then directs you to his website behind a paywall to get the answers. There are some interesting things in the book. I am glad I got a cheap used copy because this is pretty much hucksterism. And the author has the temerity to chastise people like Dr. Joseph Mercola for selling vitamins. What is worthwhile is his expose of big food and big pharma. He was ahead of most people when he wrote this book.

Stunning retro/modern cabinet pulls
Quality finish, nice weight, luxurious. A very nice choice for a touch of glam without overdoing the glitz. Very pleased them.

If you like Bowie and are unfamiliar with this album, give it a listen
1 of 1 found this helpful What a strange trip backwards in time. I have been slowly acquiring CDs of my early vinyl collection, and finally got a new copy of Diamond Dogs (I'm allergic to downloads--I still prefer to own my media, even though they promptly go on the iPod and iPhone.) This was on heavy rotation on my record player when I was 14, in 1975, and I hadn't been able to play it for at least 15 years. How amazing to find it still resonates, is still haunting, still so good. My only gripe is that all the music was still installed in my brain, and I developed a terrible case of earworm with several tracks after I heard them again.
Diamond Dogs is an example of true album rock. The tracks tell a progressive story of a dystopic future. Bowie is a genius, after all and his voice is fabulous on these songs. Fortunately the producers left the original album unchanged, and included a bonus disk. It's an elegant solution for those purists who like to hear the original exactly as it was.
It's deliciously dark, and the cover art is still as striking as it was in the '70's.
