Should be a dependable unit, but there's the squeak...
1 of 1 found this helpful I installed this a few weeks ago, so can't evaluate much.
So far, it's working great.
Very quiet, even with the fan on (ECO mode off). This is in an older tower with PSU mounted at the top, so I'm leaving the fan on to pull heat from the case. It does that very well.
I'm not a gamer, so didn't need the extra power for that, but I do some audio/video editing and have a hot CPU, a graphics card and other extras, so I wanted a little overhead. Under regular use, this never gets above an idle.
Now that I've had time to run it for a longer period, it seems that I've ended up with one of the units with the dreaded squeaking fan. It's not all of the time, but enough to be slightly annoying. It's a high pitch, almost like a faint mouse squeak. I did isolate the sound, with a stethoscope, to verify that it is coming from this psu. A bad mark on EVGA to not use a higher quality cooling fan. Had to change my rating to just okay, since I can't say that it's better than expected.

A good, low cost upgrade.
This is an upgrade from an entry level, two core cpu. A definite upgrade.
Actually wanted a new pc or at least a1090T, but they're overpriced, so I tried this 1055T at much less cost.
I had tried switching from 4 to 8 GB of RAM and that helped a bit, but it still wasn't enough.
Even the 1090 has a hard time keeping up with most modern cpus, so I didn't expect too much from this. Fortunately, videos that used to stutter at low resolution now play good at full HD res. No more browser freezing because of too many tabs open.
This made enough of a difference that this ten year old pc will be good for a few more years.

Fast processor, Crystal clear images.
3 of 3 found this helpful This is one of Samsung's flagship phones from a couple of years back. Has almost every feature of the latest generation's top of the line.
It feels good in the hand. Smooth and well balanced.
The processor is very fast. Loads things in a blink. Animated images run smoothly and with no stuttering.
Even small details are clear on this screen and that's in the HD setting. This phone will show 4K.
The camera is very good for a smart phone, even in the auto mode. Same with the video, which it can take in up to 4K resolution.
I run it in high performance mode and still have charge left in the battery at the end of the day. Of course, that will depend on the type of usage and data connection.
The sound is pretty good with the earbuds that come with it, but I'm sure it would be much better with high end buds or good headphones. The included buds do have a phone mic and buttons to control the phone and other audio, on the right side wire. All of this works well.
Being factory unlocked for this phone allows it to be used with GSM or CDMA carriers so it works no matter which carrier you choose.
The memory can be expanded up to 256 GB plus there are portable wifi drives if you need more. Not likely unless you do a lot of video
This phone has an FM chip that's turned off. That's easily remedied with a free app, so you can access over the air broadcasts, to cut down on some data usage. Otherwise, load a few thousand of your favorite tracks on your memory card with room to spare.
One drawback is that the battery isn't removable. Once it starts to fade you'd have to deliver it to a shop with the right skills and tools to access it without damaging the case or the integrity of the sealing system. Even then, these glued in batteries are tricky. Kind of a shame with a phone like this that most people would find more than adequate for long term use.
Better pick up a good case because this phone is glass, front and back.
There's a lot more to this phone than I have the patience to type here. Mostly good and very little not.
