  Unfortunately the painting was not a Robert Cox as advertised. The painting was completed on a peice of hardboard and then badly fitted into a frame that was not designed for the finished work. At best these copies fetch £10 to £15 at Carboot sales and certainly not worth the £50 I paid for it.

  Seller making up stories in order not to respect a bid and not sell a coat. Maybe s/he didn't liked the price for which the item was sold, I don't know. When I asked to see the damage, no answer was given.
