Lightweight and flimsy

Bought this to replace an old Philips one where the battery died. Relied on the reviews about quality Initially did not seem to cut as well as the old one (uneven trim length) but today was the worst. The guide is a very soft plastic and does not lock solidly into the base. As a result it can sit in two positions and the difference is about 3mm in cut length !! Took a chunk out of my beard before I had realised what had happened Not impressed so be very careful when using this

Good piece of kit

Works fine, would only say that one of the two metal bits (useful when 2 of you have phones) is not sticky. Managed to fit it inside the protective plastic cover so not a problem

Excellent Value for appearance and features

Like it and would recommend it on the basis of a couple of weeks. Big and a bit easy to bang into things when walking through doorways or picking things up. Negatives are that I chose the white face one as I thought it looks best but this does make it difficult to see the hands from different angles. Also, the luminosity of the hands is pretty non-existent, meaning you have to use the back light to look at the digital display to read the time at night
