Good but could be better
0 of 1 found this helpful I have had a Garmin Satnav before so I wanted to get a newer model, rather than pay stupid money for updates to maps. I got this one because its a recent version and supposedly comes with lifetime maps. I have tried to update the maps, to no avail. Garmin want to you register the item, which having bought second hand, I have no idea to register the product with serial number. Took me awhile to reset the unit , as the previous owner has set it to avoid motorways, the last thing I needed, hence why the unit came trying to take me via the back roads.
Moreover, have not been able to set the home mode correctly, and lastly the batter use is terrible. Only last about 1 hour of use then needs charging, so have to use it plugged into the car charger.
If has suggestions for me, please share it. No impressed so far with my new Garmin Satnav.
