Total Control of your Heating System.
The Tado system is right for us. We can see every room in the house and simply set the temperature as we want. It can identify an open door or window and cut off the heating until the window or door is closed. If we take our phones out with us it will switch off the heating until we return. We believe it is saving us about 4 or 5% of our usage.
The downside is pairing with the system and getting new kit working. There are too many variables to adjust to simply have it working immediately. However Tado can with your permission enter the system and identify your problems if reported to them.

A speculative buy
0 of 2 found this helpful We were having a large party at home and knew that it would spill out into garden at some time. The Dome Shelter tent was bought for our long narrow garden in case of rain.
It did shower on and off for most of the time but it did keep a dozen or so crowded people dry and able to stand full hight.
Minimum of two people to erect and folds up into a light, small hold-all. Has insect mesh on all 4 sides, important in Scotland, and opaque sides for privacy if used as a sleeping tent.
Not tested on a windy day.

MacAllister Discontinued Item
I have a MacAllister battery operated strimmer for the lawn edges, marvellous little machine, a workhorse. Sadly it appears the batteries are no longer available so I have to hunt far and wide for a replacement. I was lucky to find this one on ebay and it is working fine.
MacAllister will not be my first choice for garden equipment if they can't supply the batteries during the product's working life.
I have bought my first robotic mower from Cleva, the Lawnmaster L10, their support is excellent and will be considering them when seeking new battery operated products.
