Consumate design and engineering
Festool are known for their high quality products. Probably like many other manufacturers they have a special flare in certain areas - and the Kapex is one of Festool's.
Particular qualities that stand out are a solid robust construction, no bending or flexing during cuts, so accuracy is optimised throughout the work process.
Dust extraction is highly efficient.
Versatility is maximised with the compound angle ability.
Lastly as a semi portable tool, the weight is well balanced and reasonable allowing less strenuous carrying from job to job.
All in all an excellent tool.
