Does a job But nothing special
Buying this product for the price I did I wasn’t expecting anything too good
After one fencing jobs use (23 posts) the spike on the large drill bit is completely bent. The on off switch has also stopped working so you have to use the choke to turn it off
It also rattled itself loose and the gearbox/ clutch came away from the engine but that could have been my error in assembling it
Since putting it back together and tightening up it seems fine
The engine runs well but I’ve found if you run it at full revs it’s very aggressive so be gentle with the throttle
To rent an auger for the duration of the job was half the price so this machine only has to do 2 jobs to be value for money,
Anymore and it’s saving me money
I don’t expect it to last but unless you outlay a large amount on a known brand if say it’s value for money, just don’t expect miracles
