More great racing from Ridge Racer
First off, this title really lives up to its namesake of Ridge Racer. It is an awesome arcade-style racing game. The graphics are great, as well as the gameplay. You can choose from a variety of cars and a seemingly endless amount of customization. The only down-side I saw with this game is that when racing on tracks at night, the tail lights from other cars tend to streak. However, the one way I found to fix this is to never be racing behind another car! Also, the motion sensor control for the game is very touchy and hard to get used to. You can choose whether you want to steer with the left stick or tilt the controller as a steering wheel. I always stuck with the left stick since the motion sensor just doesn't feel right. On the good side, the single player mode is extremely involved and long- it will take you a while to play through it. Also, the online mode is a lot of fun. This game does support two players on the same console, however, it can get boring since it is only the two of you on the track and you cannot race against the rest of the field. But the pros far outweigh the cons for this title. If you are looking for a great racer for the PS3 that really shows off the PS3's power, go for Ridge Racer 7 because you will not be disappointed.

Great Gameplay- Fails to Fully Use PS3's Abilities
First off, the Call of Duty series has really taken off as a solid contender against the Medal of Honor series, and Call of Duty 3 is a strong addition. As previous versions of Call of Duty, COD 3 takes you through a certain time period of WWII through several different peoples' perspectives. Here is the quick and dirty of the game: Pros: -Intuitive controls -Decent graphics (see Cons) -Awesome all-around sound -Many perspectives in game progression -Long single-player campaign -Bonus interviews with WWII vets for beating the game Cons: -Zoom-in aiming system -Only 720p output -Graphics are essentially the same as XBox360 -Sometimes the AI is Artificially Un-Intelligent -Use of Six-Axis controller is awkward and seems to be forced into gameplay The gameplay is great because the controls are very intuitive and easy to pick up. One thing that it is a constant annoyance, however, is that when you zoom in, it is very hard to aim your weapon. However, there are many weapons at your disposal and it is fun just to try them out. You'll be disappointed if you have a 1080p capable TV because the game only supports 720p output. But unless you are a stickler for graphics, it doesn't matter too much. The Pros and Cons pretty much outline everything else, although I must say that the campaign is very easy on the easiest level and will not take long to beat. In addition, even if you manage to beat the game on the hardest difficulty, the online multi-player is awesome. That being said, if you want an even better FPS shooter for the PS3, the go for Resistance: Fall of Man. But in my opinion, if you can swing it, both are worthy for your game library.
