very nice radio for home, field or mobile use

Radio covers 160 meter thru 70 cmHAM bands, transmit and receive. I'm mainly a CW guy, and the digital narrow filters are great.. from 50 to 500 cycles... they work fine. Radio has a built-in antenna tuner, draws only 2 ampson receive (if you're running on batteries that helps) has nice memory functions, allows you to set your transmit power levels, is compact, and would also do fine as a mobile rig. The display is a touch screen and is easy to read.

Nice looking ; you should buy and cut 1/4" dowel in longer pieces;; recommend single piece back

dowels to hold the vertical and horizontal pieces should be longer and 1/4' diameter; buy a piece andcut your own; suggest a 1-piece back for more solid construction; nice looking; don't damage the wood... it's composition board
