Bought this to prevent road crud adhering to my radiator on band new MT-07. It was very easy to fit, the adhesive tabs are very strong and 4 months later the extender is still firmly affixed. This has coped with some biblical rain this year, and kept the front of the engine and radiator clear of debris. Looks good too, in fact it looks factory fitted, very good fit on MT-07.

Nice quality, but tricky to install
I like these engine bars. They look good fitted and suit the bike, but they are tricky to fit for what they are. Although only three bolts per side, one of them is a (very) long bolt through the centre stand and exhaust mount. It's a very tight fit and needs to be drifted all the way out, so you need a very long drift. Also the bolt is re-used, so you can't be too rough with it to get it out. The spacers in the centre mount holes need to be in position when you offer the bars into place, as you can't get them into position afterwards, and they slip out of position easily, meaning it's a fiddly job to get all of the bolts lined up. It would be easy to strip a thread in the (top two) engine mount holes if they aren't absolutely spot on. Finally, you can't access this centre mounting hole with a socket drive, you'll need an open ended spanner, and even then it's difficult to get to, due to the size of spanner needed for a 17mm bolt. If you're patient, and take your time they are great once fitted, but don't expect a quick fit.

Works well, easy to install, good value.
The instructions are not entirely clear, Chinese to English translation is not the best, but in reality this doesn't matter because all you need to do is insert a valid SIM card and connect the positive and negative leads the right way round. This neat little gizmo then searches for GPS and Mobile network signals and after a minute or so it's done. Just call the mobile number allocated to the SIM, hang up when it answers, and you get a text straight back giving the GPS co-ordinates with a link to a google map showing the location. It's Great value and if your pride and joy gets nicked you can find it with one call.
