The Capri - The ultimate Fast Ford
Anyone that collects Vanguards from Corgi, will be more than aware of Capri, the brand does this, the Mark One and a Mark Three, this one for me at least is the best, the Capri is the total embodiment of Fast Ford's throughout the 70's - the colour is also spot on with the vinyl roof an added edition on this model, which sets it off really nicely.
The model is a Limited Edition, and is one of around a dozen versions of the car, i personally need just five more Mark One's to have them all, and currently i have over 660 Vanguards models which i add to every month - but be aware, the Fords to tend to be rather expensive, with some commanding over £60, not bad when they cost less than £20 new.

The brilliant model spoilt by the seller
The model itself is one from Corgi, and a limited Edition model at that, they have chosen to take it back to the yellow card box and away from the plastic base and perspex dome, which they used before and after this model was released, it comes with a numbered certificate, and in a formed plastic surround, the wing mirrors are separated and taped within another space in the plastic surround.
The model is rare and infrequently available, so being able to get one was brilliant, the sale itself was mainly ok, unfortunately the postage cost was massively excessive and well over priced from what they paud to what i paid - other than that, i am more than pleased to have this model, as it completed the Vanguards Range Rover collection, and is part of nearly 550 Vanguards i own.

One of, if not the best 1/18 scale Mini Cooper around
The Solido 1/18 Scale Mini is perfect in virtually every way, from the colours to the details on the interior, the badging and the minor details that would normally be over looked, they have gotten this one spot on in my opinion, I have all the 1/18 scale Mini Coopers, and hope that they continue to build them in a multitude of colours for many years to come.
The Opening features are an added bonus, but mine stay in their box on display for one month before they get placed safely away to be replaced by something else, my 17,000+ collection is constantly evolving, and I just love collecting diecast.
