Not magnetic enough - blew away within seconds
The one at the front blew away within seconds. Don't rely on the magnet to hold it -- tape it on, or buy ones to go inside the windscreen instead! (The one at the back is hanging on fine though.)

Flimsy rubbish - shattered in no time - ** do not buy **
Utterly flimsy. It has a mechanism whereby if you push the handle down it's supposed to lock so the bin doesn't flop around. I tried it and the whole thing just shattered in my hands. I had only had it a few days, and used it twice. And it's not that I'm super-strong -- I have arthritis in my hands... it's just rubbish. Oh, and the handle is too short as well, so you have to bend down.

Tiny; plastic cover that melts; but it's cheap.
It's "value" in the sense that it's cheap, and you get what you pay for. However, the face is tiny -- other reviews warned of this, but I didn't realise how tiny -- which means you can't see the face thru the oven window; but the instant you open the oven the reading drops precipitously. So, while it will work as a meat thermometer, it's not much good for oven temperature. Furthermore, it has a plastic (not glass) cover, which melts when the oven is hot!! Mine distorted and as a result the needle stuck. I levered it off with a knife though, so now I have a coverless thermometer (that still seems to work).
