Epic! One small step for man, one giant leap for lego.
3 of 3 found this helpful This is such a great Lego: a real challenge to build, an amazing model. It's huge! A real scale build, provides an accurate perspective of scale and complexity (what I mean by that is lego could have used one piece for many parts, but they require you to use 50 to DIY, which is more fun, and complex). Love it.

Much better than the old version..but incompatible with it
Beats our old x1 in design, they fixed the oddities - power cord, water inhaler, now relatively programmable. Bad news is all the espresso pods you had and the handles for single/double etc don't work with this. New version is a proprietary capsule system, which while producing great espresso is a PITA, since only illy provides, so that limits your choice of coffee, and locks you in at illy prices for coffee. But overall, despite inconveniences, is a worthwhile upgrade
