Rewright the Manual
This unit is a great little bridge but it took a while to work out how to configure it. the instructions were obviously writen by a technical person, and like most techs they have difficulty explaining process in a simple and clear way. I recommend that the manual be rewritten by a wordsmith to make the process clearer for individuals who need a bridge to operate a device on a wifi network who by nature are not the best network engineers.

2 of 2 found this helpful I have a Garmin Chirp 55DV that was supposed to have great marine maps,well if you use the device on a lake in Australia the map looks like it came from a childs play box. No accurate detail, My boat spends more time driving accross land than on water. This poor quality map delivery is unacceptable in a modern digital age. So the DUAL XGPS150A hooked up to an iPad with Navtronics maps is your answer. Great resolution, tracks and routes, It also has the ability to give accurate altitude to the meter. The navtronics maps has the ability to vary lake depth, which in the case of Lake Eucumbeyen NSW Au, is essential as the lake is attached to the hydro scheme and varies depth regularly. This GPS device plots you to the most accurate level, fantastic. It is the perfect device for remote travel including aviation.
