Good pickups and preamp.
I have to of those pickups in my MTD Kingston Super 5, and also the OBP 3 TK preamp.
That system works very well, very great bass control.
In flat posision it is no difference between active/passive.
I think the passive will sometimes works great for me.
The sound is clear, and theese can really growl. And they can be really fat too.
