A step back in time
I could read Fannie Flagg's books all day. You feel you're in the characters homes hearing and watching everything that's happening. Her Elmwood Springs series keeps you wanting more.

Great mystery series
I have all M.C. Beaton's Agatha Raisin books and have enjoyed them. However, the latest novels have been a disappointment compared to the earlier ones in my opinion.
