No Cigar, But They’ll Work
The hooks are okay, but there are better ones out there for sale. These are pretty basic . . . thin, light, and with felt lining. I bought some a while back that were thicker and wider with a flat hammered end, and lined with a neoprene material. I thought I was ordering the same thing again but I wasn’t. My mistake, but I can live with what I got.

Kind of Weird Looking
I’ve never had a Dyson anything before, but I took a chance on this one. It’s okay — not great, but okay. On the good side it looks like it’s brand new, no dents or scratches, no evidence of any previous use at all. Everything that was advertised was there, both of the attachments, the power cord, the instructions . . . everything. And it works okay, I guess. There are a couple of negatives, though. First is the trigger switch. To make the thing run you’ve got to hold the trigger all the way back and maintain some pressure on it or it’ll quit. That’s no big deal, I suppose (the thing only runs for a few minutes anyway), but it does get a little tiresome having to squeeze it pretty hard all the time or it shuts down. The other thing is that it doesn’t have much suck power. I’m not asking it to pick up a bowling ball, but it really should suck a little harder than it does if it wants to call itself a vacuum. It’s exasperating when you’re trying to pick up some lint behind the dryer and, unless you’ve got the little sucker right on top of of the stuff you might as well be waving it goodbye. That’s about it, I suppose. Oh, except that I paid too much money for something that really doesn’t work all that well.

It’s Not Bad
It works. It’s a pretty light duty contraption. I wouldn’t try using it every day, but for once in a while it works fairly well.
