A great book about the best book ever
The information and insights this book brings to the Bible is simply invaluable to anyone who is seeking to understand a text that is both ancient and yet so highly relevant to today. From any standpoint this is a fascinating help for finding and fuelling discussion and faith.

Things can change fast! Both now and 400yrs ago.
Living where the 17th Century has shaped much of the area - and at a time when parliament and government are demonstrating both strengths and weaknesses in leadership - plus the additional flavour of the role of women, the development of philosophy and science all makes fascinating and challenging. I suspect it will be a very good book club discussion that results!
