Exakta rear lens cap

Great vintage lens
This lens was made in 1950-52 (I checked by SN) and yet my copy is so sharp in the center wide open it surprised me looking at the first picture taken with it. It's almost too sharp for portraits. Sharpness isn't everything to me, but if you're looking for a sharp vintage lens, this is one good choice.
I love that it's light and compact. Perfect for a mirrorless camera, especially if you want to travel light. It's built very solidly - all metal. The fact that is holds up this long very well says a lot about the quality of the build. Ergonomics is good.
My copy doesn't give me the background swirl like the variety of Helios 44. The minimum focusing distance is, ouch, 1m, much too long than I'd like. So it turns out to be more of a standard lens for general use rather than a special-effect lens like the Helios.
I still have to put it thru the pace testing out all aspects, but my initial impression of it is very good.
