Miele S7580 Vacuum - Excellent
2 of 2 found this helpful I had owned a Dyson for some years and was reasonably happy with it but then a bit of plastic broke which stopped the brush turning properly. I had noticed that Miele vacuum cleaners came out well in Which? reports (and I have a Miele diswasher which I really like) so I started looking at Miele vacuums on a range of websites and although it is pretty expensive, the buyers' reviews that I came across for this model were favourable. I'm delighted with it. Although it is quite heavy it almost pulls itself along so it puts much less strain on my poor old back than my last vacuum did. On the minus side the hose is a bit fiddly to pull into use and then rehome but on the plus side the hose and basic attachments are on the body of the vacuum so you don't have to keep stopping to work out where you left them. I was a bit dubious about moving from bagless to bagged from an eco point of view, but the bags are biodegrdable so it doesn't weigh too heavily on my conscience. Overall I think my carpets are cleaner than they were before with less effort on my part - brilliant.

Perfect Pyrex Cylinder
It's not easy to get excited about a cylinder of Pyrex, but this particular cylinder of Pyrex precisely fits my Genie Aerotank and therefore has saved me quite a bit of money compared to having to replace the whole tank assembly.

Brilliant.
For years I bought face blotting squares from a premium cosmetics brand but then they were discontinued and I hunted around and found the Clean and Clear version which does the same job equally well at a fraction of the price. If, like me, you have an oily skin these are just brilliant for removing excess oil before doing a quick makeup refresh when you are out and about.
