Get what you pay for
1 of 3 found this helpful I was skeptical about this sight due to its price but figured I'd try it anyway. I had intended to use it on a Ruger 22 pistol for more accurate shooting than the iron sights. This seemed to be well built and I preferred the way it mounted with the two smaller screws than the single large nut of other models. Out of the box I had high hopes after inspecting it's build, but was quickly disappointed. When mounted on the pistol I found the dot to be a fine small red dot but as I extended my arms the dot turned into a blob. This is not I decided this would not work for my application but possibly as a rifle sight as the eye relief seems to be good for about 12" but any more the dot becomes distorted.
