Don't use this gasket
Terrible! Poor engineering! Really you shouldn't have to use r.t.v to have a part seal! Although I'm sure sealant would be good because of where this gasket goes on! Even with sealant stay away from this gasket because it will not keep your vehical opporating as you would like. Hope this helps

worked for me
My woodstove fan wasn't working and I watched some suggested reviews saying thermo paste could be a possible way to solve the issues before buying other more expensive items. And it worked to solve the issue.
