Larousse Gastronomique 2009 edition
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an encyclopedia on cooking that is a must for any aspiring cook. This has all the classic recipes, all the explanations of cooking terminology from A - Z. This edition is smart, the book is huge with fine almost delicate pages.
I would not call this a cookbook - this is a reference book - and not to be used in the kitchen where it can be messed on, rather it is the go-to place when you need to learn, explore and understand. A brilliant addition to my library.
