The most full-feature compact music/video player, period.
The 5th generation Apple iPod Nano (8GB) is the best compact music player that has so far been marketed, even better than the newer 6th generation Nano. The features of the 5th Generation iPod Nano (8GB) it what sets it apart. Beyond storing hundreds of songs, it stores movies, video, has an FM radio, a speaker, and has a VGA video camera. The 6th Generation Nano removed all video capability. About the only cool thing the 6th Gen had the 5th Gen doesn't is the touch screen. So, you don't get a touch screen with the 5th Generation iPod Nano (8GB), but all the other features it has makes it a superior product. If you're going to spend money on a full-featured music/video player, but you don't want to put out the extra money for an iPod Classic, iPod Touch, or iPhone, I would invest in a 5th Generation Apple iPod Nano.
