Wei Jiang Transformers Movie Leader Class Alloy Diecast Optimus Prime New

    Knowing He's Evasive.
It took quite sometime to receive this masterpiece of a figure...was it worth the wait?...absolutely. Before I continue, I must say that I can not give this figure the 5star treatment due only to the fact it isn't original. Other than that, he is an incredible incarnation of voyager Evasion Optimus Prime, complete with added bonuses as in: articulated hands/fingers, interchangeable face, amazing paint apps, shoulder pads that second as rear covering, and what I believe is his allspark, is in his chest, gas canisters/ion cannons, and you can swing a set of wheels up to his thigh when gas canisters are either on his back or cannon mode to give him even more movie accuracy. You also get a set of energon swords and his shield. Now the only imperfection in this piece is...his tented Windows are not completely aligned. I've heard the complaints in video reviews since the beginning, please...what is so troubling about this nit-pic is that the Hasbro voyager version has the exact same flaw...I believe it's a engineered design flaw of the mold, which Wei Jiang copied and made larger, therefore same Flaw. His vehicle mode is awesome, rubber tires chrome smoke stacks again, tented Windows. He's huge and feels absolutely amazing, very sturdy and solid with that G1 paint scheme that makes him even more stunning to look at. Its a fantastic Optimus Prime, the best I've ever seen. If you haven't purchased one and you are a collector as myself, I suggest that you do so soon, from what I hear he's in his last production run. So once what remains now are sold that's it, and you'll be paying about $250.00 or more to get him in the next 4-6 months from now. He's a must have for collectors, don't miss out, knowing he's evasive.

    Has its flaws.
Yes, it has its flaws. The worse of them is his panel gaps. He doesn't close tightly in places leaving unsightly gaps in vehicle mode. My left rear tire doesn't peg in all the way so it angles outward and that causes it to spin out when I roll it. His cannon has the same problem. It doesn't close tightly once it's placed on his arm. And it looks pretty bad. There's a 3rd party version available that has a LED light in it that fits absolutely wonderful. His Robot mode is the true prize. He's is gorgeous. Movie accurate as you can get, I so happy the Bee has his extra set of wings on his back. Articulated hands/fingers wrist and waist swivel, ankle tilt and some what limitless head articulation. His transformation can be a little tricky at the calves and getting his head out is and absolute horror. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, all I know is it's problematic. Now he has these flaps that close up gaps beneath his armpits. Getting them to snap in place can also be an annoying task. But, I must say. That once you have him all transformed you will be transfixed on his visually detailed image. The mold detailing is astounding. HASBRO will get a thumbs up on the Robot mode, unfortunately. His vehicle mode with the god awful panel line gaps takes so much away from what could've been the best Bumblebee figure ever released by Hasbro. But, yet again they fell short. Lastly, he's high yellow and not the mustard gold we've grown to love. Would I recommend him?.....Yes, I would. Because even with his flaws, he's still a great figure and he's in my opinion, the best movie adaption of Bumblebee I've ever seen.

    Choice paint and Metal parts.
I recently received my Kubianbao oversize version of Hasbro original AOE design of bumblebee. And I must say I'm impressed with its overall asthetics. The paint is absolutely spot on and glossy. I like it alot but....it's not without its flaws. In vehicle mode you can clearly see the difference in the paint. Compared from the plastic to the die-cast. Die-Cast paint is much darker. Now the vehicle mode is marvelous and looks great, I mean after a while...you'll look over the overall paint because it still looks great. His robot mode looks fantastic, it's a larger size of the original, but it actually look far better than its original counterpart. The paint apps are engaged to every detail and the glossy finish makes him pop. Only thing...he doesn't have a working battlemask. He does come with throwing stars like the original as well. He's a great addition for collectors who can appreciate good quality work. Although it's a KO...it's a very Sexy KO and with the die-cast metal and choice paint, an underpeiced one Ko at that
