Baptism of fire
I bought these because i was joining my brother for a few days of serious walking. He is walking accross Europe from Ireland to Istanbul! I joined him in Zagreb and we walked to Sisak 57km to the south in 2.5days. The poles were very useful and sturdy. It was partticularly handy to be able to adjust them to just the right length. They also doubled up as support poles for my Basha while we were sleeping wild.
