Better than the one it replaced
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had 2 model 880s since 2005 and the second one finally gave up the ghost, buttons stopped working. Found this and was able to download existing configuration from the software and was up and running in no time. Buttons work which is a plus and the backlight comes on right away. A few things I miss from the 880 and I wish the built in activity buttons like "watch TV" lit up, too, but otherwise it's a terrific remote for the money. No need to get all complicated with hubs, etc - just not needed for my simple setup
