Talon bracket
Its a hunk of metal, very strong, this is not some little flimsily thin sheet metal, its 1/4 inch aluminum

Lowrance HDS9 review
Awesome unit, with the larger screen can split the screens and each grid I can make out details I want to see. Its a very durable graph, have mine mounted on the bow of my boat, your mount type is very critical in how durable any graph will be, I have mine mounted using Bass Boat Tech mount. How easy was it to install, hardest part is running the cables I bundled the power cable, nmea2000 cable and Ethernet cable and pulled them back to the console. I don't use the internal GPS antenna, I have mine connected to Lowrance external Point 1 GPS antenna.
