Terrible picture quality with this case

does the job, just not exactly like 1974 oem part
This is the replacement for my 1974 sportster boot. Even though it fits the solenoid, it doesn't leave room for the foam gasket that must go between housing and solenoid. I machined a .075 deep recess in my housing to allow the space needed. I guess you could also just add a .075 spacer to the .250 spacer that sits behind the solenoid to make room for the gasket. Either way it got the job done and will probably seal better than the original design did.
