Petrol Power Pressure Jet Washer 3000PSI 6.5HP Engine With Gun Hose Wheel New
    28 Sep, 2017
    Rather pleased
The pressure washer arrived in one large box approx 30kg in weight, it wasn't too heavy to carry about. Inside the box, the jet wash is part dismantled but packaged well will polystyrene. The jet wash only requires Alan keys, which are supplied for assembly. The wheels are just slid in and the internal clips hold the wheels in place. The brackets and handle are just held on with bolts. The water pump is already filled with oil however you need to fill the engine with oil before use. Due to the location of the dip sticks (located on the bottom of either side of the engine) filling the engine is a bit hard. Chonda engines are a bit picky with oil and I find they run most reliably with being over filled with oil. Therefore tipping the engine on a angle and filling with oil and then laying it back down on a level surface to let the excess drain out is the easiest method. I used a left over Chinese carton to catch the unused oil. The oil should be filled to the first thread on the oil dipstick to avoid the low oil cutout from giving you problems. Once petrol is added, the last 9 occasions I have used it, it's started on the first pull will full choke. Around the home the jet wash has plenty of power, 4 nozzles are included for detergent, low pressure, medium pressure and pencil spray for stubborn cleaning. I have found no use for the pencil nozzle as this is too powerful for anything around the home. The detergent nozzle foams detergent up no problems from the included hose that connects to a nipple on the pump. I have experimented with gravity feeding from a drum and the jet wash feeds absolute fine, if not better compare to a garden hose. I can't comment on fish of the jet wash as I wipe it dry after use and dry store it. However nearly all parts are coated with paint apart from the water pump so this should be resistant from light weathering and getting damp from use. I personally would give it a quick wipe over to avoid rust. I would recommend this jet wash to anyone who wishes to use it in a home environment.
KATSU ® 936 Digital Electronic Soldering Rework Station 60W 312087

    A great starter soldering station
I'm not a serious electronics person but still needed something decent. After previous experience with fixed temperature cheap soldering irons not getting hot enough or being too hot, I came across this station from bigclivedotcom. The station is perfect for simple integrated circuits for hobbyists and simple electrical repair. The device comes fitted with a UK plug and is fused. There are a variety of tips provided to suit almost all applications. For the price I cannot fault it. The advantages are: Well built, Adjustable temperature, A variety of tips, Sturdy holder, Plenty of cable, Good thermal capacity, Suits almost all applications in terms of amateur electrical repair and electronics kits. The disadvantages are: The tips are small (don't expect to solder thick wire with this or large electrical components) The holder rusts from the wet sponge just after a few hours. For the price though you cannnot complain, i recommend this for any electronics hobbyist or someone just getting into soldering.
