Adult black humour from depression era USA

Great collection of Nathanael West's novels in one volume. All four published works are here : The Dream Life of Balso Snell (1931) · Miss Lonelyhearts (1933) · A Cool Million (1934) · The Day of the Locust (1939). I'd heard of West through Miss Lonelyhearts and his last novel, The Day of the Locust and decided to purchase them all in one go. It's black humour but very adult content, so not everyone might appreciate it. This volume wasn't available through my local lending library, so it really is a pleasure to be able to buy it in reasonable condition at a reduced price.

Great little unabridged book which retains the essence of William Styron's original book. Harrowing, but compelling content inside. Should be required reading for all people associated with mental health care.
